Actor Kushal Tandon, who is seen having a soft corner for model-actress Gauhar Khan in Bigg Boss 7, will propose to her on the reality TV show, albeit as part of a task!

The couple has been in the news for sharing a good chemistry on the show and supporting each other during tough times.

His proposal will be part of a task given to the inmates by Bigg Boss.

In the Friday, November 29, episode of the show, Kushal and fellow contestant Ajaz Khan are given the task of wooing Gauhar and winning a date with her in reward.

In the first round of the task, hosted by VJ Andy, both the male contenders sing a song for her.

According to sources, during the second round, Kushal proposed to Gauhar and said that whether he wins the task or not he would like to say it in front of the whole world that he loves Gauhar a lot and that he would like to grow old with her.

Following the emotional proposal, she was touched and was moved to tears.

Ajaz also tried his best to convince Gauhar, but Kushal won her over.

Some say it is a publicity move to gather more eyeballs. Others say it is to compensate for Isha Sharvani, who is injured and cannot shake a leg…err….arm.Whatever the reason, it sure is a good move by the makers of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5to have popular contestants from previous seasons of the show shake a leg with the current contestants.

So in next Sunday’s episode, it will be a mix and match deal. Rithvik Dhanjani will be pairing up with the sassy Yana Gupta, while Gurmeet Choudhury will dump choreographer Shampa and boogie with Gauhar Khan. Rashmi Desai Sandhhu will shake a leg with Meiyang Chang, while Mahi Vij will be performing along with Bharti Singh in what we are sure will be an interesting and we hope rib-tickling act! The ex-contestants will act as mentors to the participants and will help them with their own experiences from previous seasons to bag the top spot.

As far as their stint in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is concerned, there has always been a difference of opinion between model Gauhar Khan and choreographer Hanif Hilal. But now, due to a ligament tear, Hanif will not be able to choreograph for Gauhar any more. But there's more to read inthis news!

Hanif Hilal's injury provides Gauhar Khan an excuse to get rid of him choreographing her dance.

Though one of the judges on the show, Saroj Khan, asked him if he would want to stay back to choreograph for Gauhar if another male dancer would be paired with Gauhar. Hanif readily accepted it. However, this won't happen! Why? Because Gauhar put her foot down and said, "I'm not taking advantage of Hanif's injury but I want another choreographer."

Gauhar has been cribbing about Hanif's choreography since day one. And this time around, it was almost as if God had answered her prayers. She was brimming with happiness after the judges -- Saroj Khan, Juhi Chawla and Vaibhavi Merchant -- agreed to this request of hers.

I wish I knew some strategies to win 'Bigg Boss': Gauhar Khan

Gauhar, 30, is not new to the world of reality shows having participated in shows like 'Khan Sisters' and 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa'. The "Ishaqzaade" actress said she is taking "Bigg Boss" as a challenge and wants to prove herself.

"If people think that I would be nasty on the show then they are highly mistaken. I am outspoken and upfront but that doesn't mean that I will be involved in cheap stunts to get attention. I am a straight person and wish I knew some strategies to win the game. I am not expecting anything and excited to face the new challenge," Gauhar told PTI in an interview before entering the show.

The 'Zangoora' queen feels that the 'hell and heaven' concept this time would be tough. "I am a reality show buff and an ardent viewer of 'Bigg Boss'. I feel Salman bhai is going to make this season tough with this new concept of hell and heaven. But I am ready for it. This show is the best way to connect with your fans as they will know you in and out," she said.

Bigg Boss 7: Salman Khan vs Gauhar Khan, War of Words Escalates.

A recent episode of television reality show "Bigg Boss" witnessed an explosive encounter when host Salman Khan was locked into a verbal duel with contestant Gauhar Khan.

Salman, taking a stand in the Kushal-Tanisha fiasco, reprimanded Kushal for his ungentlemanly act of mistreating Tanisha, further sparking off another set of heated arguments.

Salman slammed Kushal for attacking Tanisha with personal references. As Gauhar defended Kushal's actions, Salman objected and lost his temper at her.

A sobbing Tanisha added to the drama while Gauhar fiercely voiced her opinion and even referred to Salman's partiality saying, "It doesn't matter what I say, you will only hear what Tanisha says."

The show has often seen Salman taking Tanisha's side. Even though his stance was justified to an extent when he pointed out that women were portrayed in poor light, his ignorance of the actress' previous follies could not be overlooked.

The overt reactions from Salman and the outspokenness of Gauhar evoked massive reaction over the web. Despite no film releases, Salman Khan kept trending on Twitter with hashtags, '#SalmanUnfair', '#SalmanisAlwaysFair' and.'#BB7.' Other trends were 'Gauhar', 'Tanisha' and 'Salman Khan'.

In response to the public reactions, Salman on Sunday posted a barrage of tweets justifying his actions on the show.

"You see 1 hour, I see the whole deal. Guess some of you guys may not react when someone speaks to your family's female members or women in that manner. But I do, and most of us men and women stand up against men who run them down..."

Gauhar Khan who had left the Bigg Boss 7 household, almost unconscious, vehemently protesting the eviction of her 'friend' Kushal Tandon has been flogging a dead horse since her return two days later. The proverbial dead horse being - her belief in Kushal Tandon's innocence and that his act was not one of violence when he charged at and subsequently hurt fellow housemate Andy.

Salman Khan the host of the show too questioned her on her return on the show while stating that he himself would not have returned were he to be in a similar position. Gauhar explained her return to be her way of proving that she still stood by what she had said before she left and that she still believes Kushal's intention behind his violent action to be noble.

But if the rumour mills are to be believed - Gauhar was reminded of a small clause in her contract with the show which stated that any contestant that left the show midway, of their own free will was expected to pay 50 lakhs. The sizeable penalty could have been very persuasive in bringing her back to the show sans her beau. Looks like she did care after all even though her famous last words at her previous hasty departure were - 'I don't care!'

The actor, who's always trying his best to woo Gauhar, seemed more than offended when Gauhar claimed that Andy and Sangram treat her as a sister.

Salman was rather taken aback at the claim and reverted by saying, "It's a sin for a man to call Gauhar his sister. She cannot be any man's sister."
